Dr. Curtis Weinstein, D.C.
Dr. Curtis J. Weinstein is a second generation chiropractor and was born in Sewickley, PA in 1985. He received his first adjustment just minutes after birth, only had one prescription of antibiotics throughout his entire childhood and has continued to live a chiropractic lifestyle since. Through his schooling years, Dr. Curtis was an avid wrestler and enjoyed playing lacrosse for Palmer College of Chiropractic. In such sports, Dr. Curtis observed the damaging effects that subluxation and misalignments can have on the body. He is a firm believer that the human body is a vitalistic, self-healing organism as long as the nerve can communicate efficiently with the tissues in need of repair.
Dr. Curtis performed his undergraduate work in Pennsylvania as well as Missoula, MT where he expedited early into Chiropractic College by taking summer classes at community college. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa at Palmer College of Chiropractic where he met his wife, Kristal. In the summer of 2010, Curtis traveled abroad to serve the less fortunate communities of Fiji and graduated February of 2011. Dr. Curtis proudly joined the team of Weinstein Chiropractic Center and was privileged to work under his friend, mentor and father, Dr. Gary Weinstein. Dr. Curtis married Dr. Kristal on June 30th, 2012 and expanded their family on July 3rd, 2014 bringing their beloved daughter, Hunter Dawn into their world.
Before moving to North Dakota he practiced in PA for six years and has expanded his expertise in the field through hours of extra training and helping thousands of people. Not only is he proficient in the general Chiropractic techniques (including Gonstead, Diversified and Thompson), he is also dexterous in extremity adjusting, Chiropractic BioPhysics, Pettibon, OTZ, Upper Cervical and a certified Webster technique Chiropractor. His specialty is posture correction and stress management through posture and lifestyle changes. Within these six years he has attended yearly Gibson Management seminars, trained in public speaking and Personal Injury cases. In 2014 he was chosen to be part of the international organization The Wellness Champions. Through this organization he has had the pleasure to work with many professional athletes most notably the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Dr. Curtis’s goals are NOT to treat people only for symptom relief, but more importantly to address and correct the true problem and allowing the nervous system to function properly. With this, Dr. Curtis believes true health is when the body is functioning at 100 percent, 100 percent of the time. Outside of family and chiropractic, he enjoys hunting, fishing and simply spending time outdoors.
